Вицепрезидентът Илияна Йотова откри в Левски скулптурната композиция „Земляците“, която представя актьорите Георги Парцалев и Григор Вачков и писателя Дончо Цончев. Инициативата е под патронажа на вицепрезидента.
Илияна Йотова специално благодари на скулптора Борис Борисов.
„Българите лесно се обединяваме около благородни каузи и вървим ръка за ръка по пътя на тяхното осъществяване. Не вярвайте на онези хлевоусти хора, които казват, че българският народ няма кауза, че сме разделени повече от всякога. Може би някъде нагоре в елитите са разделени. Ние, българите, тачим своята памет и история и я предаваме на децата си. Този паметник е израз на уважение към паметта“, посочи в приветствието си Илияна Йотова.
Вицепрезидентът подчерта, че тримата големи творци Георги Парцалев, Григор Вачков и Дончо Цончев ще продължат да живеят за поколенията. „Ще водим децата си тук и ще им разказваме кои са земляците и колко много са направили за българската култура. Българите сме богати със своята история, духовност и таланти“, заяви Йотова.
Вицепрезидентът изрази надежда да се множат съмишлениците, за да се реализира идеята за музей на Георги Парцалев.
