Тази година Световният ден на ХОББ (хронична обструктивна белодробна болест) се отбелязва на 19 ноември. По този повод в този ден (сряда) лекарите от отделението по пулмология на ,Сърце и Мозък‘ Плевен за пореден път организират кампания за безплатен
От 10:00 до 14:00 ч. на 19 ноември, във фоайето на болницата, корпус „Юг“, специалистите ще изследват дишането на всички желаещи на възраст над 40 години – без установени белодробни заболявания, пушачи или бивши пушачи и/или работещи в запрашена среда.
Необходимо е предварително записване на тел.: 064/678 400.
ХОББ е хронично инвалидизиращо и прогресиращо заболяване и е третата водеща причина за смърт в света.
„Изследването на обемите и капацитетите на белите дробове е неинвазивно, безболезнено и безкрайно ценно в оценката на белодробното здраве. С помощта на спирометрията откриваме значими заболявания като хроничната обструктивна белодробна болест, бронхиалната астма и проследяваме други заболявания като прогресираща белодробна фиброза. Тя е важен индикатор за ефекта от лечението което прилагаме“, информира д-р Илия Крачунов, началник на отделението по пулмология.
„Резултатите от проведената през миналата година кампания показват, че по-загрижени за здравето си са жените. Ето защо сега насърчаваме и мъжете да се погрижат за себе си, да отделят малко време и да се изследват. Изключително важен за ранното откриване на болестта сред рисковите групи е скринингът със спирометрия. По този начин пациентите могат отрано да започнат терапия, да бъдат мотивирани да се откажат от тютюнопушенето и да променят начина си на живот“, съветва още д-р Крачунов.
